We follow the National Curriculum for England, enriched for our international community and the UAE context. Teaching builds subject knowledge, independent thought and the habits pupils need to become confident, able and responsible young people.

We currently teach children from Nursery to Year 8. The school grows by one year group each year, and our Sixth Form opens in August 2030. Admissions are open now for in-year places in 2026 to 2027, and for Nursery to Year 9 in 2027 to 2028.

Our inclusion team works with teachers and families to identify each child’s needs and agree the right support, including for Students of Determination. Our Director of Inclusion, Niamh Keegan, leads this work. Our Elevate team provides English language support, and class teachers adapt lessons so that every child can take part fully. English is the main language of teaching. All pupils study Arabic, UAE Social Studies and Moral Education, in line with Ministry of Education requirements, and Muslim pupils study Islamic Education. Other modern languages vary by phase; our academic team can explain the options for your child.

The school runs Monday to Friday, with an earlier finish on Fridays. Please make sure your child arrives ready for the start of their phase’s school day.

Yes. QE Flourish runs before and after school, starting in the second week of term. Morning activities run from 7.00 to 7.50 am, and afternoon timings vary by phase, as shown below. Families choose activities through SOCS. If you need help with SOCS, Jemma Stilwell, Whole-School Assistant Head, is available in Reception on Mondays.

Yes. In our founding year, younger Pre-Prep and Prep pupils can use a free, supervised Sibling Club until their eldest sibling’s timetabled school day ends. It does not extend to the end of an afternoon Flourish activity, because our staff are leading Flourish at that time.

Yes. We send families the shortened Ramadan timetable in advance.

Please email absence@qedubaisportscity.com by 7.50 am on the day of absence, giving your child’s name, class and the reason. For a planned absence, email the class teacher or tutor in advance to request authorisation. Please avoid booking holidays during term time.

Pupils arriving after registration sign in at Main Reception. For early collection, email the class teacher or tutor in advance, then collect your child from Main Reception and sign them out. If they return the same day, please sign them back in.

Our catering partner is Tuck Shop. For Nursery to Year 2, parents order snacks, lunch and afternoon tea through the Tuck Shop Student and Parent App by 9.00 pm the night before. For Years 3 to 8, parents top up a Tap and Go card through the app and pupils choose at the dining counter. A daily Tap and Go spending limit of AED 80 applies.

Yes. Children can bring a packed lunch and eat with their classmates. The school is nut free, and food brought onto site must contain no nut products or pork. Please give up-to-date allergy information to both the school and Tuck Shop, through its app.

Pupils choose QE Flourish activities through SOCS, with support from their class teacher or tutor. The programme spans four strands: Care, Create, Challenge and Compete. Check SOCS for current options, and speak to your child’s teacher or tutor if you need help with the platform.

Yes. Our transport partner is Guardian One Transport. Contact transport@qedubaisportscity.com to check route coverage, seat availability and registration. Bus transport is not available for FS1 children. If your child normally uses the bus but you are collecting them yourself, please tell Reception and the Transport Team before dismissal.

Trutex is the school’s official uniform supplier. Visit our Uniform page for current requirements and ordering details. Please label all uniform and belongings with your child’s name.
